2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid: the Car of the Prince

The smugly humble 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid car has received an honor that is normally granted to just the most prestigious of cars: an official royal appointment made by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The Prince’s car, the first ever production Prius Plug-in Hybrid to grace the aged lands of Europe, was lent to him for a two-month period by the President and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe, Didier Leroy. It will join the Prince’s fleet of sports and luxury cars. It is believed that the royal fellow will use the car to encourage other, lesser humans, the peasants and serfs to adopt green-friendly cars.
